Game Cooks, a mobile gaming studio based in Lebanon, has recently unveiled a first person shooter arcade game called Planet Nam Nam for both iOS and Android. Gamers in general and Game Cooks fans in particular will remember Birdy Nam Nam, the highly popular precursor and the progenitor of Game Cooks. Birdy Nam Nam was co-developed by brothers Lebnan and Arz Nader back in 2011. It was in light of its overwhelming success that they decided to found a gaming studio. Fast forward three years and Game Cooks is releasing the second installment of the franchise and their 11th game in total.

Just like its predecessor, Planet Nam Nam is set in a fantasy world where mutant birds act as the antagonist and it is your job to fend them off and save the day. This time around, the birds have stolen humanity’s most significant monuments and taken them back to their homeland, Planet Nam Nam. You control a character called P1W whose quest is to travel to the faraway planet, retrieve the monuments and teach the invading birds a lesson once and for all.

There are three different worlds to overcome, 58 action packed levels in total. You’ll have to fight wave after wave of those pesky creatures and their crazy vehicles. Simply tap on the screen to shoot them down, but be careful not to miss any of their eggs either as these will cause you some harm if they reach the ground or land on poor P1W. You also have to face the ultimate challenge and battle the Nam Nam mastermind in the ultimate arcade boss fight.

Surely, as you advance through the different levels, the number, type and viciousness of the creatures will increase. But fear not, awesome upgradable weapons are available. A dual gun, a tesla launcher and an assault rifle are just a few of the multitude of weapons that you can use to rain down fire upon the villains. In addition to weapons, you also have access to upgradeable power ups that maximize bird casualties.

“We’ve been completely immersed in the Planet Nam Nam world for the past six months now. It is such a great feeling to see our characters brought to life and enjoyed by so many people all over the world in such a short amount of time,” comments Lebnan Nader.

Each of the three worlds has a unique theme and is made up of at least 16 levels, a mind-bending frenzy level and two boss fights. Once you complete the first world, you automatically unlock world two and three. As with all Game Cooks games, Planet Nam Nam features incredible gameplay, original sounds and inspired characters. You are guaranteed to be immersed in the game and taken along the Planet Nam Nam ride.
