Listening, singing, and dancing are mainly the things we enjoy to do when it comes to music, but it’s way more fun when you actually get to manipulate songs and create your own tune. Which is why Edjing is the perfect smartphone App for all you music lovers, especially those of you who like to compose and create their own songs and share it with friends instantaneously.

Launched back in February 2012, Edjing became one of the most rare Music Apps where you get to play and mix different songs at once and share them online with your friends. The app made a 4.5 rating on Apple, Google+ and Windows store. It was voted one of the “50 best Apps to be downloaded” by GQ.
With almost 2.5 million downloads within a year and over 800, 000 subscribers, Edjing received the “Best App of the year award” at the 2013 AppAwards.

Unlike any regular music-creating Apps, Edjing was custom-designed for all those people who enjoy composing music, Dj-ing at pubs or clubs, or even anyone who has great taste or interest in music.

No need for YouTube tutorials; the steps to use the App are very easy. After downloading the app for free, you open it and add two songs on your two scratch disks. There are buttons for certain effects you can use like scratch, echo, loop and auto mix as well as other sound effects. Not to mention that you can play and manipulate your songs while recording the track. After that, you can share your mixed track on Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, or even on the Edjing website where you can get a lot of listeners and likes.

This app is definitely a must for all those who enjoy creativity in music. Since regular arcade games and quiz tests are becoming very mainstream, now you have another enjoyable app to play with in your spare time.

Here’s a sample I created after downloading the app, so you can have an idea of what results you might get after mixing:
