Three competitions, the Ideathon, Startup Battle, and Creative Combat will be taking place at ArabNet Beirut this February.

Ideathon
The Ideathon competition aims to showcase the best of regional entrepreneurs with great ideas to an enthusiastic crowd of investors, incubators, media and digital professionals, and connect them with the latest developments in the digital world. To be eligible, the idea has to be related to web and mobile, and should not be a functional startup. Submit your idea to the Ideathon competition before January 19th for a chance to pitch on stage at the ArabNet Beirut! You can find more information on how to apply here.

Startup Battle
The Startup Battle competition aims to support early stage startups from across the region and help them grow their businesses. The competition will showcase the best of regional startups to an enthusiastic crowd of investors, incubators, media and digital professionals, as well as connect entrepreneurs with the digital world. Startups must be less than 2 years old, have less than 30 employees, less than $2M in investment and must be functional before the deadline of the competition. Submit your startup to the Startup Battle for a chance to pitch on stage at ArabNet Beirut before January 19th! You can find more information on how to apply here.

Creative Combat
The Creative Combat is a competition for the marketers and advisors and aims to highlight young talents in the regional advertising, communications, and media industries. Teams of 2-3 students or professionals will have to come up with a plan for an effective digital marketing campaign that addresses a specific creative brief in just 10 days. 3 finalists will be invited to showcase their campaign plans where they will receive guided training and feedback. They will also pitch their campaign before a panel of judges and conference attendees, and the winning team will be awarded $5,000. ArabNet Beirut
The 9th edition of ArabNet Beirut 2018 will be taking place from February 20^th to 22^nd. The conference will feature more than 80 speakers from the MENA region and beyond the Middle East to discuss opportunities in digital media, entrepreneurship, and much more.

Apart from the competitions, ArabNet Beirut 2018 will host 3 forums in addition to the Banking Innovation Day, which will bring together 150 bankers, technology providers and agencies to discuss the latest innovations in banking technology, from smart branches to mobile payments. The conference will also feature Founder’s Day, previously known as Prototype Day, which will be dedicated solely to workshops and Innovation Avenue, an ArabNet initiative that aims to help hardware developers and designers in the region to showcase their products.
