Souq.com Rewards Users with Affiliates Program - Digital Summit 2015

Souq.com, the MENA’s largest e-commerce platform, wants to reward its users and pay them – that’s right, pay them. Ronaldo Mouchawar, the platform’s co-founder and CEO, made the announcement yesterday at ArabNet Digital Summit in Dubai.
The new Souq.com Affiliates Program enables any individual or business to earn a commission (up to 10%) from all sales on Souq.com which were derived from their web and mobile traffic – not just sales of advertised products. Even referrals from personal social media pages such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube would earn their owners money.
A Comprehensive Approach to Building Partnerships
“The program offers another great partnership opportunity where anyone can monetize their own traffic and reach,” said Mouchawar. It is part of Souq.com’s strategy to grow and build long-term and mutually rewarding relationships with its partners.
A month ago, Souq.com had launched the "Developer Program", which allows any business to white label the Souq.com platform in order to launch its own e-commerce site. Business owners can take advantage of the Souq.com API to set up their own website with a built-in end-to-end e-commerce process, powered entirely by Souq.com.
These 2 services complement Souq.com’s original “Sell on Souq” integrated approach to e-commerce (from listing to payment, shipping, and marketing).
Ronaldo Mouchawar, CEO & Co-Founder of Souq.com says: “We have launched the Affiliates Program to continue our approach of taking partners along in our growth and building long term, relationships.
