6 Free Mobile Apps That Will Complement Your Instagram Experience
Back
Instagram turned three on Sunday! A month earlier, the one-billion-dollar photo and video sharing app recorded a staggering 150 million users, 100 million more than its parent, Facebook, did in its third year.
There are tens of apps out there that aid users to get the best out of their Instagram experience, but we picked just six:
1 – Instacanvas
A worldwide marketplace to buy and sell Instagram photos as canvases, framed prints, iPhone cases and greeting cards. Any Instagrammer can sign up and select the photos that they want to sell to earn 20% commission on each and every sale, while Instacanvas takes care of printing and shipping the products. Users can track the sales and visits of their galleries, and know in which form their photos are being sold. The app is available for iOS and web.
2 – InstaSize
Its name says it all, InstaSize spares you the frustration of having to cut off parts of your photo in order to match Instagram’s Polaroid (square) dimensions. In addition to this main function, you can stitch more than one picture together, and add picture borders, text and filters. After finishing, you can export pictures to Instagram to further edit your photos before finally sharing them. The app is available for iOS and Android.
3 – Instafeed
Instafeed enables you to curate multiple custom feeds, whether for groups of people or categories. Subscribing to other users will only add them to your feed but not increase your original Instagram following count. The app also enables you to re-post pictures to your own Instagram account. You can like and comment on Instagram photos from directly within Instafeed. The app is available for iOS and Android.
4 – InstaCollage
InstaCollage allows you to combine multiple sized photos in a frame of your choice. The app offers more than 80 layouts, 40 picture borders and 18 photo effects, other than the ones that Instagram offers. You can also add a caption or a sticker before sharing them on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. The app is free for a limited time only according to the App Store description. InstaCollage is available for iOS and Android, however some Android users complained about compatibility issues.
5 – Instamessage
Instamessage enables you to message Instagram users privately, and search for near users available for chat. Like any other app in the list, the other party needs to have Instamessage in order to receive your interaction. InstaMessage is a mini-dating app that might be used to stalk other users, but the good thing about it is that you can block stalkers, in case you’re not interested. The app is available for iOS and Android.
6 – Padagram
Instagram is built for smartphones, but iPad users needn’t to worry, because Padagram enables you to compatibly view and manage your account from the comfort of your iPad, whether in landscape or portrait mode. The app allows you to view photos by category or by upload location on map. You can also subscribe to tags and users. The app also offers 500 integrated Emoji symbols that can be used to comment on pictures. Download it from here.
