- Manage the planning of projects, resulting in the creation of detailed work plans which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete each project
- Assign tasks, milestones, responsibilities, deadlines across projects and departments
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
- Review the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required
- Create new systems / processes / procedures / documentation (reports) to facilitate and ease workflow within and between departments
- Build team spirit and corporate culture by developing and implementing policies and procedures, corporate activities and outings; encouraging behaviors in line with corporate culture, and discouraging / chastising inappropriate behavior
- Anticipate and resolve staff issues including any disagreements between individuals or departments; manage staff on-time attendance, vacations, sick days, etc
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Operations Department, including IT / web development; logistics; finance / accounting / budgeting, admin, and HR
- Performing any other duties and responsibilities as needed.
