Carmine (www.carmine.ma) is Morocco’s first car sharing service that aims to provide an affordable, comfortable, and efficient transportation alternative that reduces traffic and pollution in Morocco’s urban areas.

The service targets four demographics: those who don’t own cars but occasionally need one; those who have one car and occasionally need a second one; those who are transiting the city and need a car temporally, Enterprises that irregularly need to have access to a car. 

Users can register and reserve online a car, then walk to the nearest carmine station and hold their card in front of a special sensor on the windshield of their assigned car to open the car.
