Tarek received his degrees in Aerospace Engineering while working on his first startup, IcySolutions. The latter, a sports heath hardware company, offered products that were used by Manchester United, German National Team and several Olympic Teams. He later founded an e-health startup that gamified medical equipment training for hospitals and medical professionals. He worked with Rocket Internet on their online food ordering startup, Foodpanda, managing the Middle East growth and taking the platform from a few 100 orders to over 15,000 per day. Tarek is also a mentor to several startups.
