Sami is currently the co-founder and managing partner of Berytech fund, the co-founder and vice chairman of Berytech fund II, and the co-founder and vice chairman of Berytech fund management. He spent most of his career with major US investment banks, in Beirut, New York, and London. Sami represented Lebanon in the winter Olympic Games of 1964 in Innsbruck Austria.
