Amal held two positions one as a Managing Director for Babson Global Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and the other one as a Director of VentureLab at Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College. She was also part of the Entrepreneurship Center at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in a number of roles including leading the TAQADAM university accelerator sponsored by SABB. Amal started her own businesses in Dubai, organized sports events and offered commercial consultancy to large organizations such as Dubai government, Infiniti cars, Kempinski hotels and others.
