Flat6labs Bahrain has announced that applications for its 3^rd cycle are open for local and international startups until the 29^th of February 2019.         

Flat6Labs Bahrain is a startup accelerator program launched in 2018 in partnership with Tamkeen. The aim of the program is to foster a dynamic and sustainable entrepreneurship environment and investment vehicle, support job creation, alleviate the pressure of the public sector, as well as help position Bahrain as an innovation leader in the Arabian Gulf region and MENA at large.

The accelerator program will accept innovative startups from idea or prototype stage and beyond, and will target those working in the following sectors: Financial Services and Payments; Education; ICT and Electronics; Mobile Apps and Games; B2B Infrastructure Services; Healthcare; Tourism; Real Estate Technologies; and Hardware and Industrial Solutions.

After a careful deliberation of all the applicants, 7 startups will be selected to take part in an intensive 4-month cycle program aimed at guiding the entrepreneurs and scaling their businesses. Each participant will be granted $32K in seed capital, a creative co-working space, access to a wide and expansive network, mentoring and coaching from top industry leaders, as well as a multitude of perks and services from partners.

At the end of the cycle, a Demo Day will be organized where the graduating companies showcase their startups to a host of investors, media and potential business partners – all with the purpose of securing the startups further funding and business opportunities to spur their operational growth.
