The Proposal Specialist will be a part of the Business Development Department that is responsible for building new business relationships and managing sales for ArabNet’s conferences, media and services.  This is a unique opportunity to get a high-level view of the major trends in the digital sector, and a broad understanding of the movers and shakers who are shaping the web and mobile industry across the region.  It is also a chance to connect with large technology companies and key players, and understand how commercial relationships are built and how deals are closed.

This role reports to the Senior Business Development Manager.

Job description

As a Proposal Specialist, you will be responsible for developing smart and persuasive proposals, RFPs, and pitches for prospective clients, acting as a go-to intermediary between the Sales team and subject matter experts across our organization.
Individual joining will be talented writer, high performing task master, and will have the ability to thrive under pressure.

  • Draft, proof, and edit customer-facing proposal materials in MS Word, Excel, and PPT.
  • Engage directly with Business Development team, and senior leadership to understand client business goals.
  • Coordinate with members across the organization to develop new content
  • Build and maintain a business asset library including proposal templates and documents, company credentials and capabilities, team bios and client feedback, case studies, and any other proposal content you can think of
  • Own and manage high-impact internal projects (e.g., development of product pricing tool, implementation of content management tool, etc.)

  • Motivated; able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
