The Business Development Executive is responsible for coordinating and developing new business for ArabNet’s conferences and activities. This is a unique opportunity to get a high-level view of the major trends in the digital sector, and a broad understanding of the movers and shakers who are shaping the web and mobile industry across the region. It is also a chance to connect with large technology companies and key players, and understand how commercial relationships are built and how deals are closed. The Business Development Executive will mainly be dealing with Sponsors and Exhibitors at ArabNet’s events. The Executive will be in charge of tasks like maintaining a database of previous and new clients, opening new channels of communication with companies, accruing details for the conference booklet, ensure proper visibility of sponsors’ deliverables, communicating proper logistical details to other departments for the event, and following up with client’s payment.

This role reports to the Business Development Manager.

Job description

  • Building and maintaining ArabNet’s Client Database
  • Communication with Sponsors and Exhibitors to ensure fulfilling the deliverables of our agreements
  • Day-to-day follow up with Sponsors/ Exhibitors
  • Research and Competitive analysis of other events in the region and global arena
