Panel: Trends in Fintech - What's next?

Global fintech companies have raised $24.6B as of Q3 2019, already surpassing the total investments  for 2017. Funds around the world are heavily investing in FinTech startups. FinTech unicorns globally are providing a variety of services: from payment to peer-to-peer lending, and from transfers / remittances to SME financing. According to CB insights, some of the fintech trends, which witnessed a significant growth in investments include: challenger banks, which have raised over $3B in 2019 YTD, wealthtech, which rebounded in its funding to 39 deals worth $761M 2019 YTD, and Regtech, which reached a high of $511M in 2019YTD .This panel hosts leaders in financial services and FinTech to discuss the global and regional trends that are reshaping the sector, and the strategies that financial institutions should pursue to keep up with the disruption and capture emerging opportunities.
