M3allem.com is an online directory for craftsmen in Lebanon. The project is the brainchild of Zadi Hobeika who, when faced with the strenuous task of finding and dealing with craftsmen to renovate an office space back in 2009, decided to start M3allem.com. The website lists all sorts of craftsmen including carpenters, gardners, masons, movers, and electricians among many others, with the ability to filter by governorates.

The project had been in the works for over a year but officially launched on Sunday and has so far received an overwhelming reception averaging 800 unique visitors a day. The website, which allows craftsmen to list themselves, also includes user rating and a comments section.

The website currently focuses on the Lebanese market but plans to expand its scope to include Arab countries within the next few months. Additionally, the M3allem team is also planning to introduce a mobile app and a Facebook microsite.
