Le Geek C’est Chic! Geekfest Beirut 5.0 “Music & Fashion” Taking Place Thursday 5th Of July
Geekfest 5.0 “Music & Fashion” is set to take place this Thursday at 8:00 pm at the Alleyway in Gemmayze. The event will include talks, live music, a catwalk, in addition to an ongoing art show.
Launched in Dubai in 2009, GeekFest is an offline social for online people and should be interesting to anyone who's using technology to create, educate, entertain, inform, drive change or just play around. To date there have been GeekFests in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Cairo, Alexandria, Damascus, Amman and other Middle Eastern countries.
Registration will begin at 7:30, followed by 5 talks at 8:

The red carpet fashion show will kick off at 9:30, followed by live music performances at 10:30 by Near Surface, Hiba Kadri, John, DJ George Chouloukm, UNDERRATED, and others, in addition to a stand up comedy act by Malek Teffaha.
Entry to Geekfest and participation in all of its side events is FREE, however, you may choose to reserve a place for dinner or drinks & snacks at two of The Alleyway's locations or have anything on their menus.
