The web has rendered data sharing an extremely simple and prompt task. This ease of transferring data however has also resulted in an overflow of unorganized information crowding the web. Enter Daleeleo, an Arabic community for information sharing which offers users a platform to exchange knowledge based on common interests.
Having occupied various positions in the web and IT field over the span of 10 years, Muneer Saifi became certain that "corwdsourcing was the future." It was the strong appetite for Arabic content that he observed during his career however that motivated him to start Daleeleo, an online platform for knowledge exchange for the Arab world.
Using a rich Q&A format supported with video and images to share information, users can benefit from the expertise of carefully selected Daleeleo community members from a broad range of fields. Additionally users can also either follow other members, subjects, or topics depending on their interest. The Daleeleo community currently stands at around 100 selected users, and should increase to around 1000 in the coming couple of months.

The team took scalability into consideration when building the system to facilitate adding different forms which will be added in the future, including debating or audio content, among others.
