ArabNet Case Study Challenge

The ArabNet Case Study Challenge (ACSC) is a new competition set to take place at the ArabNet Digital Summit 2012.
 

The ACSC aims to find and promote established and independent agencies and freelance creatives who demonstrate the most innovative use of technology and new media for a marketing goal.

Applicants should submit a digital marketing case study from 2011/2012 that incorporates any or all of online advertisement, video, mobile, newsletters, email and social media by filling out the ACSC

Application Form. Within the form, Applicants should outline their featured marketing campaign’s:
 

- Objectives: Brand background, market situation, goals, target audience

- Strategy: Insight on target audience and strategic planning

- Implementation: The tools and mechanics used to implement the campaign

- Results: Relevant data on outcomes. i.e. reach, return on investment, etc.

- Lessons: Overall experience, learnings and analysis; key take-aways
 

Applicants can also submit diagrams, images, spreadsheets and/or a video of up to 5 minutes along with the written form.

Submitted case studies will be judged by ArabNet and its panel of ACSC Judges, drawn from top global agencies, brands, and publishers.


Six finalists will be chosen based on the following criteria:
 

- Originality: Is it a new idea? Does it utilize a new medium or an old medium in a new way?

- Effectiveness: How successful was it in achieving the stated objectives?

- Impact: How many participants took part? How strong was the message? Did it affect the target audience?

- Engagement: How much content was created? How interactive was it? How much attention to detail is there in the work?
 

Selected finalists will be featured on the ArabNet website and given the opportunity to introduce their case studies on stage in front of over 800 attendees at the ArabNet Forum Days (March 29 & 30).

Each finalist will have 15 minutes to present, 5 minutes of which will be dedicated to Q & A with the ASCS Judges.

An award will be given to the top case study presentation for the Best Digital Marketing Campaign in 2012.

The ASCS honors excellence in online advertising, recognizes innovative individuals and organizations, and helps set a high standard for internet marketing, advertising, PR and design.
